Is Lee Strobel pro-ID?

Judging from the fact that in most Christian bookshops in Spain we can find many of Lee Strobel's books, and judging form the fact that you'll struggle a lot to find only one Christian book that defends evolution (I never found any), it seems logical to assume that Strobel's books don't support evolution. Here you can find the evidence for this:

Any opinions about this guy's argument?

  1. Hi

Dodgy internet connection means that I cannot get the vids to work. Annoying!

Re: Christian books on evolution, I thought publications by Polkinghorne and F. Collins supported the idea of evolution?

I just came across this today and I wondered what you think: an interesting article by D. Alexander in the most recent Third Way that discusses the history of evolutionary theory and evangelical thought, which celebrates evolution:

We’re heading to Scotland tomorrow, but hope to see you sometime after we return.

    Adios,

  2. Oh! My mistake: I meant to apply the "in Spain" to both premises (no evangelical spanish bookshop sells christian books that support evolution). You are right about the authors you mention (I would also add others such as A. McGrath and K. Miller). I wish more evangelical bookshops sold those kinds of books in Spain. That'd help to erradicate (or perhaps change a little) the closeness of mind in many churches about issues such as evolution.

I'll check out the article and let you know - thanks for the link.

We definitely need to meet again after you get back (I hear There Will Be Blood is out soon!). I hope everything goes well in Scotland. Have a good and useful trip.
